Motivation & Inspiration
As an artist, I am profoundly driven by the interplay between color and symbolism, using both as conduits to command attention and provoke thoughtful engagement. My artworks are characterized by bold concepts that revel in vibrant contrasts, intended to challenge conventional perceptions and spark deeper contemplation.
The selection of my subject matter is an intuitive and multifaceted process. It begins with an observant gaze that captures fleeting images, subtle movements, or expressions on a person's face. These visual cues, coupled with instinctual feelings and reflective thoughts, lay the foundation for my creative exploration. It is the dance of contrast, the interplay of colors, and the fluidity of movement within a scene that irresistibly draws me in.
Inspiration is found in the subtle intricacies of life and the external realities people navigate. Through observation, I delve into these layers of existence, uncovering narratives rich in authenticity and emotion.
My technique unfolds through a meticulous process of research and deconstruction. After selecting a subject of intrigue, I dissect it into various components—people, places, events, along with words, phrases, and clichés. These fragments form an imaginary assemblage that I entrust to my imagination and intuition. In this creative crucible, ideas emerge, coalescing into unique artistic expressions.
Through this dynamic and imaginative approach, my art stands as a testament to the vibrant dialogue between observation and imagination, form and meaning.
